Entered into rest at Chartwell Wedgewood Retirement Community, on Tuesday October 4, 2016. Donald Elton King of Mallorytown aged 85 years. Donald was born as Donald Blaine Westcombe September 26, 1931 in Front of Leeds and Lansdowne Township to John Henry Wescome and his wife Alice Victoria LaRose. Donald was adopted on March 21, 1938 in Brockville by Henry Elton King and his wife Lenna Margaret Boulton who both predeceased him and his name was changed to Donald Elton King of Yonge Mills. Loving father of Donelda Barclay (Ronald) of Brockville, Carol Wright of Mallorytown, Donald (Melanie Robertson) of Brockville, Marylee Mathieu (Gilles) of Val Caron, Charlie (Shirley Kroot) of Lyn and Laurie Williams (Roger) of Mallorytown. Loving grandfather of 13 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great children. Sister of Bertha Farlley (Jim deceased). Predeceased by his Wescome brothers and sisters Carl, Reginald, Lillian, John Henry Jr., Jean Fisher (Gordon), William (Shorty), Charles (Art) Joseph (Joe), Margaret Lawson (Martin), Dorothy Stymest (Percy), and Mildred Peters (Arthur). Special thanks to his team of caregivers at the Wedgewood and Jessie Hearn. A Graveside Service will be held at Mallorytown United Church Cemetery on October 8, 2016 at 2:00pm.
