I am saddened by the news of Steve's passing. I have not seen Steve since we both were in high school at Gananoque Secondary. Steve, Pat, and I all rode the same school bus, on the Parkway, in those days. I will always remember Steve's ready smile and positive attitude, which he always showed. Our lives in the world pass so quickly, but we look forward to the prospect of Eternal life to come. May Steve rest in peace.

Dear Pat, Laura, Tony, Hunter and Emma, Paul, Kim, Kyle and Shawn,
Hearing of Steve's death after the transplant was very sad, knowing how long he'd been waiting for one. He was a quiet and calm man that enjoyed fishing, hunting and the outdoors which has carried through to his children and grandchildren. He certainly enjoyed the River!
Our prayers, thoughts and condolences go out to all of you, with Love, Phil and Sue

Julie and I have never forgotten the strength and longevity of Steve and Pat's love affair, starting way back on the daily bus ride into Gananoque Highschool, they held hands on the bus every day.
We did not see them often but on occasion over the past 50 years as they journeyed through life surely with many ups and downs and they did it together.
We always liked Steve's easy going and friendly style and no doubt he will be missed by all those he touched in his lifetime.
God bless

As cousins and neighbors for many years, I have so many positive memories of Steve that I don't know where to begin. I think my fondest memories are when we had the hunting camp at my old house on the parkway, and the bonfires growing up in Smugglers Cove. I always looked forward to catching up over a beer and hearing the hunting stories after a day out in the bush. He will be missed. My heart goes out to you all......

We are so saddened to hear of Steve's passing. He spent many days helping me side by side with Mike on my machine at the former Graphic Controls, as it is most widely known. He was ALWAYS patient, kind and had a ready smile everyday! Such a sweet man and I can imagine a wonderful father and husband. We all have missed him since his retirement as I'm sure his family and friends will miss Steve now. Our sincere condolences go out to everyone, Sheryl Vanderscheer and Dwayne Fletcher
