Kim is the most extraordinary person I know. I'm not speaking of her in past tense because her spirit remains with me and always will. She changes everyone who knows her for the better. In the face of her authenticity we can only be our authentic flawed selves - a gift we need more of in this world. She's precious. She's needed. She's love in its truest form, that comes out of a well of mysterious source and depth. One can't think of her without a profound sense of her place in our hearts and souls. She suffered. Oh she suffered. Good that this part of her extraordinary life is passed. Thank you, Kim. Thank you so much. Heartfelt condolences to your family and friends.

We would like to offer our condolences to Donna(Mom); Karen and James; Shannon and Mike; Derrick, Rachel, and Abby. Kim was a dear friend who always had a way of putting things into perspective. No matter what challenges she faced, she did so with determination and bravery. She demonstrated how a positive attitude and outlook on life can prevail no matter what obstacles are put upon us. She has taught us so much. Most of all, Kim was a loyal, caring friend who always had a sense of humour no matter her circumstances. She will be missed.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
Love Mark and Colette

Derrick/Rachel & Abbigail, Donna, Karen/James, & Shannon/Mike;
No one will ever understand why someone had to be taken so young. Kim was such a blessing to have in the world and in all of our lives. She battled so hard and was ALWAYS so upbeat and positive. It takes a whole family to create such a loving & strong person. May you find some condolence, as I know we will, that Kim can now rest peacefully, be pain free, and watch over all those she loved so much. We take great pride in knowing we had such a long lasting friendship with Kim. Our memories will never fade!
Your family is in our prayers.

May I express my condolences for your loss. Death is not what our heavenly father intended for mankind. He created us to live. May you and your family find comfort at John 5:28,29 that tells us of a time when “all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out “ Yes what a wonderful hope of seeing our deceased loved ones again. May your family find strength at this difficult time.

Dear Derrick, Rachel, Abbigail, Donna(Mom), Karen, Shannon and families.
Kim told us that this was the life she was given and she knew she could not change it. She accepted it and what a journey she made of it! We try to remember that and learn from it on a daily basis.
Words cannot heal the pain of losing someone so dear but the memories we have certainly help. May the care and love of those around you provide comfort and peace.
Sending you condolences, prayers and love
Guy and Deb

Our deepest condolences to Shannon, Mike, Karen, James, Donna, Derrik, Rachel & Abbigail. Kim was the strongest woman I have never known. Always so optimistic and so very brave. Her hard fought battle with this insidious disease is something that was so unfair yet I never heard her complain once. I would like to say that she is in a better place and to rest peacefully but instead I would like to say that I wish that she never had to face this disease that I know all too well and that she is was still here happy, healthy and loving her beautiful Abbigail.
All our love,
Lisa, Ryan & Logan Harkness
