Obituary of Doreen Covey

Entered into rest at her residence on Monday December 25, 2017, Anna Doreen Grace (Hoare) Covey of Brockville aged 79 years. Loving mother of Jennifer Mills (Shawn), cherished nana of Caitlin and Sam Mills. Doreen is survived her brothers Laurence (Janet), Clarence (Helena), Charles (Bea) and Ronald Hoare (Carole) and sisters Jean Byers, Colleen Rajhathy (Gabe) and Connie Martin (Vern) and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Henry and Dora (Perkins) Hoare and a sister Donita Jane Hoare.     

Family and friends may pay their respects at the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl Street East, Brockville on Saturday December 30, 2017 from 11 a.m. - 12:45 p.m. The Celebration of Doreen’s Life will follow in the Chapel at 1 p.m. Interment will take place at Roselawn Memorial Gardens on Tuesday January 2, 2018 at 10 a.m. In memory of Doreen, donations to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 96 Ladies Auxiliary or the Broadview Nursing Home Activity Fund would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
