Candles
I light this candle for my daughter’s dear friend Shae. She was always the light in everyone who knew her & loved her. I hope you’ve found peace now Shae & know you will always be in everyone’s heart & soul forever ❤️
Every candle I light I will be thinking about you Shaelagh. We met when you were 6 years old and you were our flower child at our wedding when you were 7. Your Auntie Tama always had a special connection with you. Remember when we took you to Grenadier Island for an overnight on the boat. You woke up looking like you got chicken pox overnight because of the bugs... You were 6 and I am certain that was our first overnighter together. You may not have been too impressed by your Aunt Tama's choice for a boyfriend. You were with us a lot, every chance Tama had, she wanted to do something with you. Your sister Braedi joined us when you were 6, then your cousins Aydon when you were 9 and Julia when you were 10. Never forget your Dad at the cottage... not a great experience for "city boy" we all laughed, you were 11 and you kept your Dad calm in the wilderness. Your cutie little brother arrived when you were hitting your teens. Charlie had two moms, you and Shannon.
The world can be a cruel place, your cousin Doug said that in his tribute to you. He is right. Its a tough go for our young people. Almost seems like nobody cares, that is not the case. We are lost as well. How can we make things better is something on the minds of everyone.
Shae, my hope is you are in a good place and at peace, I love you so very much and will miss you forever. Keep watch over us honey.
Love Uncle Kevin xoxo
