Obituary of Patrick Joseph Hickey
It’s with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Joe, peacefully in the Brockville Palliative Care Unit in his 84th year. Joe Hickey of Brockville, formerly of Delta and previously Newfoundland. Beloved husband of the late Martha (Burkholder) Hickey (2017). Loving father of Tricia Hickey (Kevin Long), Marcia Hickey (Andrew Froats) and Joanne Hickey (Michael Hurst). Cherished Grandpa/Poppa of Matthew and Adryan Long, Brynn and Nolan Froats and Josslyn Hurst. Dear son of the late Patrick and Josephine (Allen) Hickey; and brother of Alice Ryan (the late Peter) and Mary Clements. Also missed by many nieces, nephews and friends.
The family would like to say "Thank You" to all the wonderful staff at the Palliative Care Unit BGH that helped and supported our dad.
The family will receive friends at Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl St E, Brockville, on Wednesday February 12th, 2025, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. Funeral service will follow in the Chapel at 1:00 pm.
