Obituary of Donald Fenlong

Donnie of Athens, ON., Peacefully entered into rest with his family by his side, on Sunday February 23, 2025 at the Sherwood Park Manor, Brockville, ON at the age of 82. Beloved husband of the late Glenna (nee Redford) for 52 years. Loved father of Brian (Angel), Shawn (Felicia) and Chris (Virginia). Proud and cherished grandfather of Jared (Chloe), Colton (Emily), Madeline (Nathan), Danielle, Carson (Karey) and Josh. Fondly remembered by his brother Carl Fenlong (Rike). Donnie leaves behind his sister-in-laws  Pat(Henry), Bev (Brian) and Lois (late Peter) as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by his parents Roy and Verna (nee Cavanaugh).  Dad enjoyed gardening, playing euchre, the casino, hunting, fishing on Charleston Lake and spending time with his family. 

The family would like to thank the staff at Sherwood Park Manor for their exceptional care given to Dad and kindness towards the family. Also thanks to Valley View, Rideau Ferry Country Home, CPHC, Athens Pharmacy and Athens Medical Centre. 

A Private Family Service will be held in the Spring at Glen Elbe Cemetery, Athens.
