Obituary of Shirley Louise Drummond

Suddenly entered into rest at the Brockville General Hospital on Friday March 7th, 2025. Shirley (Crooke) Drummond of Brockville aged 84 years. Beloved wife of the late Jack Drummond. Loving mom of Larry Crooke (Jan Johnson) and Ann Drummond all of Brockville. Cherished grandma of Erik (Verity), Jason, Casey (Erin) and Thomas Crooke; and great grandma of Oliver, William and Arlie Crooke. Dear daughter of the late Alfred and Mildred (Throop) Crooke; and sister of Lillian Mallory (the late Gerald), Gerald Crooke (Margaret), Marion Watts (the late Alan), Linda Salmon (Donnie) all of Brockville and the late Wilhelmine Steward, Donald Crooke (Dorothy) and Leland Crooke. Also missed by many nieces, nephews and friends.

 

Family and friends will be received for visitation at the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl Street East, Brockville, on Thursday March 13th, 2025, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. The Funeral Service to celebrate Shirley’s life which will be held in the Chapel of the Barclay Funeral Home on Friday at 11:00 a.m. Interment at a later date at Oakland Cemetery. In memory of Shirley donations to St. John’s United Church, Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
