Obituary of John Shea

January 10, 1924 - March 8, 2025. Peacefully at St. Lawrence Lodge in Brockville, Ontario. John Shea formerly of Beckenham in Kent (UK), Montreal QC, Edmonton AB., and Brockville ON., in his 102nd year.

Husband of Helen Lee Cotie Shea and the late Patricia Shea. Beloved father of Peter (Carolyn) and Andrea (Neil) Hallis. Step-father of Andrew (Slavica) Paton. Grandfather of Jasper, Jasmine, Kayla and Great Grandfather of Fiona.

His family wish to thank all the staff at St. Lawrence Lodge, John’s home for nearly 3 years, for their excellent and devoted care and friendship. Thanks also to Drs. As per John’s wishes his body was bequeathed to the Queen’s University Human Body Donor Program; a Celebration of Life reception will be held in Edmonton, AB at a future date. In memory of John a donation to the St. Lawrence Lodge Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
