Obituary of Penny Bawn

It is with great sadness we announce that on April 11th, 2025 Penelope Bawn passed away.

Penny was born in Montreal, later moving to Athens where she welcomed her baby girl Candace at BGH. Later on in life her baby girl blessed her with 3 more. A small family, but one full of love. For those who knew Penny, know she enjoyed spending her time shopping. She never could turn down a good sale.

She leaves behind and will be deeply missed by her daughter Candace Terry and son-in-law Chris Terry; her beloved granddaughters Samantha Neild (Matt) and Josephine Neild, her great grandchildren Levi Neild-Zinck and Tahlia Neild-Zinck, and her beloved best friend Louise Begin-Papatzimas (Nick).

She will be deeply missed, but now she is off to reunite with her granddaughter Morgan Neild in heaven, where we're certain she will spend the rest of time cracking jokes and watching their loved ones from above

As per Penny’s wishes, cremation has taken place. In memory of Penny, donations to the University of Ottawa Heart Institute or the Canadian Cancer Society would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
