Obituary of Luc Cadieux

August 11, 1960 - April 15, 2025

It is with profound sadness and total shock that we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of Luc Cadieux. Luc will be reunited with his parents Louis and Jeannine Cadieux (nee Gagnon), brother Michel, sister-in-law Cynthia Semon, mother-in-law Peggie Cassidy and his beloved dog Cooper. Leaving to mourn is his wife and best friend Leanne (nee Cassidy), his much loved sister Natalie Denison (Mark), and brothers Marc, Paul (Cheryl), Jim (Natalie Pronovost), Rene (Sheila McIntee), and Denis (Kayla), father-in law Bryan Cassidy, brothers-in-law Dan Cassidy (Vicki Hersey), Tom Cassidy (Tania) and numerous nieces and nephews. Luc's presence will also be missed by his special friend Eldon MacCara, and many friends and neighbours, both old and new, including those from the Lansdowne pickleball community.

A private family gathering will be held to honour his wishes. In remembrance of Luc, he would have liked you to give a friendly hello to someone in passing, to lend a helping hand if you can to someone in need, to give your dog an extra treat or a special belly rub on his behalf. For those who wish, a memorial donation to your local Humane Society to honour Luc's intense love of dogs and in memory of his beloved dog Cooper would also be wonderful, and greatly appreciated.

Leanne's dog loving, handyman, and best friend will be greatly missed.
