Obituary of John Bowen Jr

Entered into rest at the Brockville General Hospital on Sunday April 20, 2025. John Harold Bowen Jr. of Brockville, aged 80 years. Beloved husband of Gert (Earl) Bowen. Loving father of Tina (John Illingworth) and Ann (Glen Markell). Cherished Poppy of Kolton Vogel (Emma Singh). Extended Poppy of Samantha Marinier, Colton Carmichael, Kirstine Kemp and Kadynn Morrison. John is survived by his sister Barbara Smith (Ron), sisters-in-law Jackie Mercier (Doug) and Jo-Anne Bates as well as several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents John and Amber (Wallace) Bowen, father and mother in law Lloyd and Evelyn Earl.  

Family and friends may call at the Barclay Funeral Home 137 Pearl Street East, Brockville on Saturday May 3, 2025 from 12 noon – 2 p.m. A private family interment will take place at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
