Obituary of Desmond Liston

Desmond Liston of Brockville, Ontario (formerly of Montreal, Quebec) passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family at St. Lawrence Lodge on Wednesday, April 30th, 2025.  Desmond was the son of the late Stanley and Bertha Liston (nee Leblanc). He will be dearly missed by his brother Terry (the late Louisette) and sister Linda McBratney (the late John) as well as nieces and nephews Catherine Liston Heyes (Anthony), Elisabeth Liston (Michael), Maureen Grady (Raymond), Debbie White, Steven White (Wendy), Michael White (Erin), Paul White (Dana).

Desmond graduated from The Montreal Institute of Technology and began and ended his career at Air Canada retiring after 33 years in 1997. He was a kind and gentle man with a wonderful sense of humor who loved music, cars, animals and, most of all, being the best uncle ever.  

Funeral service will be at St. John Bosco Church, Brockville, at 2.00PM, May 10, 2025. In memory of Desmond, donations to St. Lawrence Lodge Foundation would be greatly appreciated. Messages of condolence may be sent online to www.barclayfuneralhome.com
