We are so sad for the loss of our dear friend Donna, She was taken away far too early but we are so thankful for her friendship. We were so excited to spend another amazing trip down south with her but god had other plans, but we are left with amazing memories with adventure, fun, laughter and many pina colada’s. She will be remembered for always welcoming us with open arms into their home with awesome cooking and baking. Donna’s priority was her family and grandkids and we are so deeply sorry for your loss, hold unto those special memories, may they bring you peace, comfort and strength.

I joined the team at RBC Eastern Ontario in 2021 and had the privilege of meeting and working with Donna. While we didn’t work together daily, I quickly came to appreciate how beloved Donna was amongst our clients and by her colleagues. She quickly built relationships and gained trust with clients through her genuine approach. She cared about their well-being and it showed. She was a mentor and a wealth of knowledge to her branch colleagues and I consistently received feedback from team members in Commercial and Business Banking about the support she provided to them and their clients as well. We were saddened to learn of Donna’s diagnosis last year. I travelled from Ottawa to attend her retirement celebration. It was a packed house, a demonstration how much she was loved and appreciated.
On behalf of her RBC family, we extended our deepest sympathies and sincerest condolences to the Ferguson family.
