It is with heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing at the Maple View Lodge in Athens, on Sunday August 10th, 2025. Ethel (Simones) Taylor of Brockville aged 102 years.
Beloved wife of the late Peter Taylor. Loving mother of James Grier, John Grier (Caroline), Jennifer Livingstone (Jeff), and the late Sheree Grier. Cherished grandmother Taylor Livingstone (Zachary). Dear daughter of the late Anthony and Artemise (Hutton) Simones; sister of the late Rosie, Freda, Phylis, Mary, Margaret, Beatrice, Angela, Tom, Buddy, and Baby Bub. Also missed by many nieces, nephews and friends.
The Liturgy of the Christian Funeral will be celebrated at St. John Bosco Roman Catholic Church, 175 Windsor Drive, Brockville on Friday August 15th, 2025 at 11:00 AM. Remembering Ethel please wear purple or bright colours on this day. Interment to follow at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery.
