Obituary of Ted Bootsma

Entered into rest with family by his side at the Fox Run Retirement Home on Wednesday October 15, 2025. Theodorus ‘Ted’ Bootsma of Rockport age 94 years  Beloved husband of Mary Bootsma (Pander) Loving father of Fred (Theresa), Terry (Terri) and Diane. Cherished Grandfather of Julia, Matthew, Kristine (Steve) and James. Opa of Joshua and Thomas. Ted is survived by his brother Piet (Aal) and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Hendrik and Jetske (Buwada) Bootsma, a brother Sjouke and his sister Annie Terpstra.

The Liturgy of the Christian Funeral will be Celebrated at St. Brendan’s Church, Rockport on Wednesday October 22, 2025 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at St. Brendan’s Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer’s Society or the Rockport Breakfast Club or the Charity of your choice would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
