Entered rest in Whitby, Ontario on Thursday November 13th, 2025. Robert Earl “Rob” Young aged 66 years. Beloved son of the late Floyd and Ethel (nee Gardiner) Young. Brother of Doug, Beth and Marilyn Young. Proud Uncle of Kai Young. The family would like to thank Brian Churchic for his 40+ years of friendship to Robert. Robert lived for a few years in Florida year-round during the 80’s to play tennis. Once he returned to Ontario he worked in the culinary world and enjoyed having his own catering business. Robert’s true passion was gardening, he loved to grow Dahlia’s and chrysanthemums, often showing and selling his prized flowers.

When visiting family Robert would often bring fabulous desserts and beautiful flower arrangements. The family wish to express their appreciation and gratitude to the staff at Bartlett Living in Oshawa for the kindness and support, with a special acknowledgement to Paola Landin.

Cremation will take place with a private family graveside service at Oakland Cemetery. In memory of Robert, donations to the charity of your choice would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
