Obituary of Eva Louise Beckstead
Peacefully entered into rest at St. Lawrence Lodge, Brockville, on Wednesday November 26th, 2025. Eva (Frederick) Beckstead of Brockville age 95 years. Beloved wife of the late Mathew “Sonny” Beckstead. Loving mother of John Beckstead (Susan) of Brockville, and the late James Beckstead. Cherished grandmother of Mandy, Matthew, Kaitlin Demick (Jeremy), Brianna and Brodie Beckstead; and two great grandchildren, Maya and Isabella. Dear daughter of the late Ernest and Martha (Freemark) Frederick; and sister of the late Victor and Arthur Frederick. Also missed by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Family and friends will be received for visitation at the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl St., E., Brockville on Wednesday December 3rd, 2025, from 10:30 - 11:30am. A Private Family Graveside Service will be held at Oakland Cemetery, Brockville.
