I would love to tell you a story about your father that shows generous he was.
I met your father when I was doing an ancestor search for my Ladd family line. After being given his name from the Brockville genealogy assoc., I made a cold call and found out that we are related to the same Archibald Ladd. He invited my sisters and I to his wonderful home. He was so welcoming, like we were always part of his life. He was so proud of his immediate family. He shared his research and even allowed me to take a book back to California with me (I later met with Michael to return the book).
I have thought about Orval so many times. I spoke to him a few times since that visit. Each time was so enjoyable. It was obvious how important his family was to him.
My prayers are with you, time helps but I am sure he is missed very much. I am looking forward to seeing him in heaven.
