Gone To Be With The Lord, peacefully at the Brockville General Hospital, Charles Street Site on Thursday March 29, 2012. Barbara Jean (Casselman) Hamelin of Brockville age 79 years. Beloved wife of the late William (Bill) Hamelin. Loving mom of Wayne Hamelin (Carol) of Brockville, Ruth Sowerby (Harold) of Ottawa, Brenda Hamelin (Roger Bateson) and Mark Hamelin (Elizabeth) all of Brockville. Jean is survived by 12 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren, her sisters Dorothy Karasiuk, Viola McCune both of Brockville, Geraldine Nugent (Bill) of London and Pearl Schaaf of Brockville and her sisters-in-law Mereland Casselman of Peterborough and Louise Casselman of Kanata, as well as several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a son David and her brothers Bob and Edward Casselman. Family and friends may call at the Barclay Funeral Home 137 Pearl Street East, Brockville on Saturday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at the Highway Pentecostal Church, 800 Stewart Blvd, Brockville on Sunday April 1, 2012 at 2 p.m. Interment will take place at Roselawn memorial Gardens.
