Obituary of Nelly Kester

Entered into rest at the Brockville General Hospital on Wednesday December 6, 2023. Petronella (deWit) Kester of Brockville aged 97 years. Beloved wife of the late Petrus ‘Peter’ Kester. Dear mother of Josee Bulgarelli (Renzo) of Texas, Rob Kester (Carole) of Minden, Ted Kester (Kim) of Brockville, Marie-Lene Tessier (Paul) of Sarnia and Maria Stead (David) of Fort McMurray, AB. Cherished grandmother of Chris, Mike and Daniel Bulgarelli, Kayla Sisson, Dustin Kester, Alyssa Spark, Bryson Kester, Eric Bain, Lindsay Kelly and Reilly Stead. Great-grandmother of Kylie, Tanner, Mia, Liam, Addie, Ivy, Everett, Lincoln, Charlie, Hanna, Daxton and Luca. Nelly is also survived by sisters Ria Cornellisson (Francis) and Thea Simmons (Hein), and sisters-in-law Mary and Ad deWit as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Wilhalmus and Maria (Pulles) deWit.

The Liturgy of the Christian Funeral will be Celebrated on Tuesday December 12, 2023 at St. John Bosco Parish at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations directed to the Brockville and District Hospital Foundation Palliative Care or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
