Obituary of Heidemarie Powell

Peacefully entered into rest at the Woodland Villa Long Term Care Home in Long Sault on Sunday January 14^th, 2024. Heide (Bettinger) Powell formerly of Brockville aged 80 years. Beloved wife of the late David Powell. Loving mother of Gwen Keller (Phil) of Thunder Bay, Brenda Perry of Morrisburg and Chrissy Powell (Hugh Stratton) of Brockville. Cherished Oma to Crystal, Cassie, Wesley, Jacob, Tessa, Jessica, Brandyn and six great grandchildren. Dear daughter of the late Friedrich and Erna (Mann) Bettinger; and sister to seven siblings. Also missed by many nieces, nephews, family and friends in Canada and Germany.

The Service to Celebrate Heide’s Life will be held at Wall Street United Church, 5 Wall Street, Brockville, Ontario on Friday January 26^th, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. In memory of Heide donations to the Wall Street United Church or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family. Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl St. E., Brockville entrusted with the arrangements.
