Obituary of Henry Mansergh

At Maple View Lodge, Athens on October 25, 2006. Harry Mansergh entered into rest in his 94th year. He was born in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba to Richard Noblett Mansergh and the former Sarah Elizabeth Harris on April 18, 1913 and grew up in Winnipeg along with his sister (Elsie) Francis. Harry was a retired Customs Officer. He met and married the love of his life and best friend Violet May Hall, who predeceased him on December 31, 2005. Harry is greatly missed by his five children Maureen (Jim), Sharon, Linda (Robert), Richard (Anna) and Michael (Genette). Cherished grampa to Todd (Susan), Shaun (Lana), Bradley, Shane, Chad, Karina (Colin), Clint (Lauren), Kurt, Cody, Cierra, along with six great grandchildren Andrew, Scott, Orion, Kaitlyn, Brooklyn and Jocelyn. Harry is also survived by nieces Coral and Sandra and a nephew Larry. He will also be greatly missed by May's only niece Beverley. Harry was predeceased by his parents, sister and a nephew Paul. Friends are invited to join the family in a Memorial Service for Harry by Ross Shearer at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses on November 1, 2006 at 7:30 p.m. on Victoria Road and Centennial Road. Due to family health, please refrain from wearing any fragrances. Thank you. The Mansergh family would like to thank Dr. Wagg, Dr. Ashe, Dr. Noss and Dr. Wyatt, the Access Centre, Homemakers, Palliative Care and to everyone at Maple View Lodge for showing such compassion, kindness and caring for Harry. Cremation has taken place. Donations in memory of Harry may be made to the Pineview Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses, Brockville or to the Maple View Lodge.
