Peacefully with family by her side at the Brockville General Hospital, Charles Street Site on Sunday May 31, 2009. Florence Marie (Tessier) Fortier of Brockville, formerly of Cornwall age 92 years. Beloved wife of the late Vianney Fortier. Dear mother of Micheline Vigneault (Julien), Huguette Fortier, Andre Fortier (Joanne), Jean-Guy Fortier (Marcel), Therese Fortier, Pierre Fortier, Jacques Fortier (Marie Andree), Lilianne Walker (Jim), Denise Dyba (Walter), Louis Fortier (Vicki), Francoise Graham (Michael) and a daughter-in-law Annette Mondoux. Loving grandmother of 34 grandchildren and 33 great grandchlidren. Sister of Wilfred Tessier. Also survived by a sister-in-law Rita Struthers (Rudolph) and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by 2 daughters and 2 sons Lise, Claudette, Jean Claude and Gilles, her parents Antonio Tessier and his wife Aurore (Lanoie) Tessier and siblings Laurence and Laurier. The Liturgy of the Christian Funeral will be Celebrated on Friday June 19, 2009 at St. Francis Xavier Church at 10 a.m. Interment will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers in memoriams to the Brockville and District Hospital Foundation Palliative Care would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
