Peacefully with her family by her side at the St. Vincent de Paul Hospital on Friday September 16, 2005. The former Verla Margaret Young of Brockville age 76 years. Beloved wife of Clement Edward Brennan, dear daughter of Ina Young at Sherwood Park Manor and the late Raymond Young. Dear mother of Raymond Brennan and his wife Josie of St. Catherines, Lawrence (Larry) Brennan and his wife Susan of Brockville and Dan Brennan and his wife Ann of Prescott. Grandmother of Raymond, Christine, Danielle, Selena, Jessica, Carrie, Krista, Corey, Nicholas and Matthew. Also survived by a sister Helen Ballantyne and her husband Stuart of Brockville and sevral nieces and nephews. At Verla's request there will be no vistitation or service at the Funeral Home. A Graveside service will be held on Wednesday September 21, 2005 at 2 p.m. at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. In memoriams to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Hospice of Providence Palliative Care would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
