Obituary of Joy Rutherford

Entered into rest at Brockville General Hospital on Thursday May 9th, 2019. Joy Rutherford of Manotick, age 71 years. Beloved wife of Peter Rutherford. Loving mother of Kathryn Rutherford. Joy loved spending her time playing music on the five-string fiddle, when the weather was nice, she enjoyed playing outside. She was an avid Snowhawker, overall, she enjoyed being active. Joy belonged to the A’Chord East music group. One of her happiest places was the cottage. Joy will be missed by all those who knew and loved her.

The Funeral Service will be celebrated at St. Lawrence Anglican Church on Wednesday May 15th, 2019 at 2 p.m. In memory of Joy donations to Bruyère Foundation (Memory Program) would be greatly appreciated by the family.  Messages of condolence may be sent online at ​www.barclayfuneralhome.com​.
