Entered into rest peacefully at home with family by her side on Thursday May 30, 2019. Jessie (Beerda) Reuvers of Athens age 80 years, beloved wife of Hank Reuvers. Loving mother of Gary (Cathy), Julian (Connie), Tony (Annette) and Zena Michel (George). Cherished Grandma of Eric (Fran), Jason, Justin (Emily), Brian, Kyle (Erin), Tyler (Jill), Charlene, Jenna (Steve) and Alana (Ben). Great Grandma of Owen, Madelyn, Ella, Zoe, Payton, Olivia and Sophia. Dear sister of Dannella Morgan, Theresa Zandbergen (John), Peter Beerda (Rita) and Tom Beerda (Eileen). Jessie is also survived by her brothers-in-law Henk Bouwers, Henry Smid (Sally), her sisters-in-law Dini Hulst (Rudi) and Hennie Janssens (Mark) as well as several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Julle and Sjoukje (Van Der Meulen) Beerda, sisters Gaatske in infancy, Gail Bouwers, Susan Westendorp, Jane Smid, brothers-in-law Mike Morgan, Harold Westendorp and Bill Reuvers and his wife Anne..
Family and friends are invited to the graveside service at Glen Elbe Cemetery, Athens at 10 a.m. followed by the Celebration of Jessie’s Life at Centennial Road Church, 3545 County Road #27 Lyn on Monday June 3, 2019 at 11 a.m. In memory of Jessie, donations to the Brockville and District Hospital Palliative Care would be greatly appreciated by the family.
