Obituary of Kathleen Robertson

Passed away peacefully with her family by her side at KGH on Friday August 28, 2020. Kathleen Emma Robertson (Thompson) of Mallorytown age 83 years. Beloved wife of Clifton Robertson for 58 years, loving mother of Kayla Robertson (Tom) and Mia Harrison (Kevin). Cherished grandmother of Ronnie Harrison (Jamie) and Shenda Harrison (Alex). Kay is survived by her dear sister Muriel Reoch and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Ellis and Beryl Thompson (Hetherington), infant daughter Vickee Lyn, and her brother in law Bob. A private family service will be held at Maple Ridge Cemetery. Kay started her career at the Bank of Canada and was a proud employee of the RBC for 27 years. In her retirement she continued her generosity and was well known as the 50/50 lady for the Prescott Flyers Jr B hockey club. Kay’s greatest pleasures were her grandchildren, reading, and the family dogs. Kay had a great sense of humour and a heart of gold. She was always doing random acts of kindness, she cherished her family, dear friends and community and will be greatly missed. Special thanks to the Brockville Paramedics and Staff at KGH KIDD 2 & 7. In memory of Kay donations to Leeds and Grenville SPCA, the Mallorytown United Church or a random act of kindness would be appreciated by the family.
