Entered into rest at the Brockville General Hospital on Sunday December 12, 2004. The former Florence May Borthwick of Brockville age 91 years. Beloved wife of the late Gordon Herbert Christie. Dear mother of Patricia Mae Christie and her husband Tom Johnston of Bright, ON. Grandmother of Crystal Lavery of Ottawa, and Shawn Lavery of Brockville, great grandmother of Tanzey Lavery. Also survived by a brother Charles Borthwick and his wife Margaret of Sarnia, a sister Clara Wagner of Kitchener and a sister in law Bessie Borthwick and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents William Norman Borthwick and his wife Anna Smithson, 2 brothers and 2 sister Robert Borthwick, Letitia (Pat) Christie, Dorothy Watson and Oliver Borthwick in the World War II. At the request of Mrs. Christie a Private Family Graveside Service will be held at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. In memoriams to the Children's Wish Foundation or the Hospice of Providence Palliative Care would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
