It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Richard Ballantyne on Tuesday January 4, 2005 in his 63rd year, at his residence Brockville surrounded by his family. He leaves to mourn his wife Claire (Finucan) Ballantyne of Brockville, his children Sean, Kim (Chad), Paul (Tina) and Darren all of Brockville. Loved "Poppie" to Kyle and Emily. Beloved brother of Barb Bennett (Robert) of Maitland. Dear and special friend of Cal Jacques and Mary Horan of Brockville. Lovingly remembered by numerous relatives and friends. Predeceased by his parents Ann (Malanka) and Robert Ballantyne. Friends may call at the Barclay Funeral Home 137 Pearl St. East, Brockville on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Liturgy of the Christian Funeral will be celebrated in St. Theresa's Church, North Augusta on Friday January 7, 2005 at 11 a.m. Interment St. Theresa's Cemetery, Throoptown.
