Slack, Elwood Peacefully at home on Monday February 17, 2014, with his family by his side, Elwood Nathan James Slack at the age of 76, went to be with the Lord. Elwood was born August 20, 1937 in Eldorado, ON. A loving husband of Marjorie for 56 years. A loving father to Derrick (Marnie), Darrell, Gregory (Linda), Shawn, Robin and daughter-in-law Karen. A special loving grandfather to Nathan, Dallas, Heather, Dylan, Darcy and Lucas. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Pre-deceased by his parents Rev. Martin Slack and Matilda Bradley Johnston Slack, brothers Winston, Johnston, Crawfton and Wendal. Family and friends may call at the Free Methodist Church Athens on Saturday February 22, 2014 from 11 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. the Funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. In memoriams to the Free Methodist Church Athens would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
