Peacefully at home with his wife Anna of 74 years and his daughter on Monday August 9, 2004. Donald Robert Ferguson of Brockville age 96 years. Beloved husband of the former Anna May Derbyshire. Dear father of Bobby Ferguson (Sue) of Calgary, Allan Ferguson (Lynn) of New Market, Carolyn Ferguson of Ottawa and Marilyn Crowley (David) of Perth. Grandfather of Dan Ferguson (Sheri) and their children Brandi and Cory of Red Deer Alberta, Cathy Tully (Keith) and their children Kyle and Alicia of Calgary, Rob Ferguson (Heather) and their children Meghan and Glenn of White Rock, BC, Janet Smith (Gord) and their children Rachel and Ryan of Pickering, Lisa Crowley (Dave Firman) and their children Paige and Luke of Ajax. Survived by a sister Ursula Shaffer (Ernie) of Brockville, 3 sister in laws Bessie Ferguson, Kaye Ferguson both of Brockville and Pat Derbyshire of Kingston as well as several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a daughter Bettina (Betty) Ferguson, his parents Robert and Pearl Ferguson, 2 sisters Meta Ferguson and Helen Lambert and 3 brothers Fred, Mervin and Merrill Ferguson. Friends may call at the Barclay Funeral Home on Thursday from 7-9 p.m., Friday 2-4 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in Wall St. United Church, Brockville on Saturday August 14, 2004 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Oakland Cemetery.
