Entered into rest with family by her side on Wednesday January 29, 2014, Audrey Inez (Hodge) Jowett of Brockville age 85 years, beloved wife of the late Donald Jowett. Dear mother of Carol Hoare (Ron) of Lyn, Bonnie Kenney of Brockville, Gail Kelly of Nepean, Kenny Jowett (Nancy), Susan Smith and Tim Jowett (Irene) all of Brockville. Loving nanny of 15 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Audrey is survived by a brother Walter Hodge (Uneeta) of Brockville as well as several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Elmer and Elva (Westlake) Hodge, sisters Noreen Williams, Phyllis Staniforth, Mildred Dack and Beulah Poole-Jones. Family and friends may call at the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl Street East, Brockville on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The Funeral Service will be celebrated in the Chapel on Saturday February 1st, 2014 at 11 a.m. Interment will take place at Lyn Cemetery in the spring. In memory of Audrey, donations to the Brockville Museum or Christ United Church, Lyn would be gratefully acknowledged by the family. Lyndale Rebekah Lodge will hold a Memorial Service Friday evening at 6:45 p.m. in the Funeral Home.
