It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Doris Lilian Thurgood on July 1st. 2004, at the Sherwood Park Manor, Brockville, Ontario, Canada. Beloved wife of The Late Lt. Col. Edward Harry (Larry) Thurgood who predeceased her in 1990. Dearly loved mother of Ann and her husband Len Delaney of Brockville, Ontario. Cherished grandmother of Jamie and his wife Dawn Delaney of Prescott, Ontario; Kathryn Delaney and her husband Chas Burgess of Auckland, New Zealand and Patrick Delaney and his friend Andrea Polsoni of Thornbury, Ontario. Special great-grandmother of Spencer Delaney and Samuel Burgess. Dear sister of Gladys Milton and Charles Carnt, both of Kent, England. Fondly remembered by her niece Jane Milton and nephews Michael Carnt and John Carnt and their families. Funeral Services for Doris Lilian Thurgood will be on Wednesday, July 7th. 2004 at 1 P.M. at the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl Street, East, Brockville.
