MURPHY, Ronald Walter After a brief illness, entered into rest at the Brockville General Hospital Charles St. Site, on Wednesday January 22nd, 2014. Ronald Murphy of Lyn aged 76 years. Cherished husband and best friend of Doris (Workman) Murphy. Devoted dad of Brenda (Sam) Dunster, Christine Murphy, Bill (Cheryl) Murphy, Karen (Andy) Rorabeck and the late Margaret Schembri. Loving and active grandpa of 13 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, 4 step great grandchildren and predeceased by a granddaughter. Loving brother of Eleanor (Roy) Walker, Mary Ellen Dunphy, Karl Murphy, Arnold (Lorraine) Murphy, Ron is also survived by 4 sisters-in-law, 3 brothers-in-law and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by his parents Walter and Gertrude (Hunter) Murphy, a brother Patrick Murphy. Family and friends may call at the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl St. E., Brockville on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday January 29th, 2014 at 11:00 am. Interment will take place at Sprucehaven Cemetery, Brinston in the spring. In memory of Ron, donations to Christ United Church Memorial Fund would be gratefully acknowledged by the family. Lyn Masonic Lodge # 416 A.F & A.M will hold a Memorial Service Tuesday evening at 6:45 p.m. in the Funeral Home, all sister lodges are invited to attend.
