Entered into rest at the Brockville General Hospital on Saturday January 24, 2004. Donald McKeown Cumming of Brockville, (formerly of Russell and Ottawa) age 87 years. Beloved husband of the former Janet Catherine Fraser. Dear father of Alexander Cumming and his wife Barbara of Brockville. Grandfather of Ian Cumming and his wife Melissa of Brampton and Andrea Birdsall and her husband William of St. Catharines, also survived by a great granddaughter Charmine Cumming. Brother of Grant Cumming and his wife Sybil of Morrisburg, Jean Stiver and her husband Neil of Unionville, and Ken Cumming and his wife Erva of Russell. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Dougal Cumming and Helen (McKeown) Cumming and by a brother Douglas Cumming. Friends may call at the Barclay Funeral Home 137 Pearl St. East, Brockville on Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2-4 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday January 28, 2004 at 4 p.m. Intement will be at Blue Church Cemetery in the Spring.
