Peacefully, at St. Lawrence Lodge, with family by her side on Saturday December 7th. 2013.Lorna (Slater) Standen of Brockville, age 93 years. Beloved wife of the late Howard Standen. Loving mother-in-law of Jim Lane (Marilyn) of Brockville. Cherished grandmother of Stephen Lane and Christine Sorenson (Steve Lalande) all of Kingston and great-grandmother of Taylor and Kelsie Sorenson, Hayden and Olivia Lane. Sister of Mary McCrae of Smithers BC and Don Slater (Eileen) of Arnprior also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her daughter Patricia Lane, 1 sister and 5 brothers. A Private Graveside Service will be held for Lorna at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Maitland at a later date. In memoriams to the Canadian Cancer Society would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
