One of the most amazing people I had the privilege of knowing. I learned so much. I miss him everyday. The amount of people who showed up to show there appreciation for his life was nearly overwhelming. I still cant get over it. Living so far away I only wish I visited more. I had 4 grandparents for 25 years of my life. I suppose I thought they were all immortal and would be around forever. Time is short, and Cancer is mean. I am glad I got to witness his strength the last week I spent with him in the hospital. Everyday, until the end. One of the strongest men I have ever known. He had a damn near beer the day before his passing. :) what a cool guy. Thanks Gramps. For showing me your strength and hope until your last breath. And for making me feel important, and smart and alive and teaching me all you could, and for doing so much for me and your whole family. I hope your enjoying your rest in paradise. Ill see you there one day!
