Dorothy entered into rest on October 20, 2014 and David entered into rest on March 20, 2015. Dorothy was predeceased by her parents Stanley and Edna (Towsley) Haffie, siblings Audrey Davis, A.I. “Ed” (Ila), Doreen Haffie, Glenn ( survived by June) a nephew Roger Haffie. Survived by a brother John Haffie (Doreen) as well as numerous nieces and nephews. David , a World War 2 Veteran was predeceased by his parents Thomas and Martha (McCullough) Newell, siblings Clara Erickson (Robert), Peggy Skiff (Terry), Agnes Mallory (Hubert), Tom (Margaret), Bill (survived by Audrey), Mary Moore (Joe), Hilda Sykes (Fred) and survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Barclay Funeral Home, 1033 Prince St. Lansdowne on Saturday June 20, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Lansdowne Cemetery. In memory of David and Dorothy, donations to McKenna’s Dream Foundation or the Leeds and Grenville Humane Society would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
