Entered into rest peacefully at Maple View Lodge, Athens on Wednesday February 18, 2009. The former Melodie Patricia Thomas of Brockville age 66 years. Dear sister of Robert Thomas (Cathy) of Mallorytown, John Thomas of Brockville and Kathleen Gemmell (Tom) of Long Sault. Melodie is survived by her niece Katie Gemmell of Long Sault, her aunt Rita Merkley of Rochester and cousins Maureen, Karl, Steven, David and their families. Predeceased by her parents Melvin and Patricia (Merkley) Thomas and her uncle Ronald Merkley. Family and friends may call at the Barclay Funeral Home 137 Pearl Street East, Brockville on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in The Chapel on Saturday February 21, 2009 at 11 a.m. Interment will take palce at St. Columbans Cemetery, Cornwall in the Spring.
