TOPPING, Geraldine Peacefully entered into rest at the Kingston General Hospital on Sunday July 14, 2013, Geraldine Veronica (Plekey) Topping of Mallorytown aged 92 years. Beloved wife of the late Kenneth George Topping. Loving mother of the late George Topping and the late Kenneth Topping, David Topping (Marilyn), James Topping (Carol), Mary Carl (Wayne) and Theresa Currie (Roger) all of Mallorytown. Cherished grandmother of 21 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren . Mrs. Topping is also survived by a daughter-in-law Marjorie Topping, a sister June McNish (Donald) and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Fred and Lena (Flaro) Plekey, brothers George, Leonard and Ted Plekey and sisters Myrtle Schawb and Verna Tackas. Family and friends may call at the Barclay Funeral Home 137 Pearl Street East, Brockville on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Liturgy of the Christian Funeral will be Celebrated at St. Francis Xavier Church on Thursday July 18, 2013 at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at St. James Cemetery Ballycanoe. In memory of Geraldine, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
