Entered into rest with family by his side, at the Brockville General Hospital Charles Street Site on Thursday September 19, 2013, George Berton Hendry of Brockville age 80 years, beloved husband of Marilyn (White) Hendry and loving father of Angela Perkins (Terry) of Athens, Alf Hendry (Cathy) of Kingston and Sherri Badmueller (Kerry) of Windsor . Cherished grandfather of Jason(Jen), Ashley (Ted), Lauren, Cameron (Lisa), Mitchell and Matthew and great grandfather of Jacob, Adrianna and Alivia. George is survived by his sisters Myrtle Brayton of Brockville, Shirley Connell of Elgin, Betty Hendry of Smiths Falls, Eleanor Westlake of Brockville and his brother John Hendry (Emily) of Smiths Falls as well as several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Wilfred and Leah (Westlake) Hendry. Family and friends may call at the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl Street East, Brockville on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday September 25, 2013 at 1 p.m. Interment will follow at Oakland Cemetery.
