Fred John Young 1919-2009 March 7th. Veteran of World War II entered peacefully into rest at the Brockville General Hospital, Charles Street Site on Sunday April 5th at the age of 90. Predeceased by his wife Agnes "Nancy" (Scott) Young, his parents Horton and Velma (Gray) Young, 3 brothers Frank, Harry, Robert and 3 sisters Adele, Ella and Myrtle. Sadly missed by sisters Dorothy Reiser, Ethel Sands (Ron), Donna Judd (Ted), Florence Williams, Georgina LaFirst (George) and brothers Earl, Charles (Evelyn), Carl (Irene) and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Family and friends may call at the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl St. East Brockville on Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday April 8, 2009 at 1 p.m. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Maitland. In lieu of flowers, in memoriams to the Canadian Kidney Foundation or the Charity of your choice would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
