SHANE, Alice “Jean” Peacefully, at the Brockville General Hospital Charles St. Site on Saturday February 7th, 2015. Jean (Dunster) Shane aged 86 years of Lyn. Beloved wife of the late George Shane. Loving mother of Donna Bresee (Al) of Westport, Valerie Shane of Lyn, Roberta Shane (Clifford Eaton) of Frankville, Richard Shane (Susanne) of Lyn and Velma Shane (Terry Boszik) of Mallorytown. Cherished grandmother of 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Dear sister of Donald Dunster (Barbara) of Cobourg and Marion McInnis of Prescott. Also survived by a sister-in-law Phyllis Dunster of Brockville and a brother –in-law Robert Watts of Athens as well as several nieces and nephews. Pre-deceased by her parents Samuel and Lula Etta (Hendry) Dunster and siblings Harold Dunster, Estella Loomis, John Dunster, Beatrice Simpson, Ethel Watts, Frank Dunster and Isabel Dunster in infancy. Family will receive friends at the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl St. East Brockville on Monday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Tuesday February 10, 2015 at 1 p.m. Interment will take place at Yonge Mills Cemetery in the spring.
