Entered into rest at the Brockville General Hospital Garden Street Site, on Friday April 26th, 2013, Cora (Plant) McKenney of Brockville age 90 years. Beloved wife of the late Alred E. McKenney. Loving mother of Joan Byers (Wayne) and Dennis McKenney (Ada) all of Brockville. Cherished grandmother to 5 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Dear sister of Freda Cowell (Austin) of Kingston, Edith Munro of Seeley’s Bay, Clinton Plant (Gert) of Cardinal and the late Hilda McDonald, Ida MacDonald, Ruby Rathwell, Velma Lackey, Herman Plant and Edward Plant. Also missed by sisters-in-law Ruth Snowdon, Thelma Kyle and Evelyne Plant, her brother-in-law Gordon MacDonald and many nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends at the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl Street East, Brockville, on Wednesday May 1st, 2013 from noon until the time of Service. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel at 2:00 pm. Interment will take place at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. In memory of Cora donations to the charity of your choice would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
