LEAKEY, Ralph Peacefully with his family by his side at the Kingston General Hospital on Thursday May 30, 2013. Ralph Raymond Leakey of Gananoque age 89. Beloved husband of Hazel (Jack) Leakey. Loving father of James A. Leakey (Sandra McNeil) of Kingston and Sylvia J. Nash (Bryan) of RR # 4 Lansdowne. Cherished grandfather of 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Dear brother of Thomas Leakey (Ruth) of Gananoque, Russell Leakey (Grace) of Kingston and Stuart Leakey (Elizabeth) of Gananoque. Survived by sister-in-law Bernice Leakey and brother-in-law Oliver Hill of Gananoque and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents Robert and Margaret(Grice) Leakey, brothers Wilfred and Ernest Leakey and sisters Edith Elder, Irene Dowd and Pearl Hill. At Ralph’s request there will be no visitation or service. Interment Union Cemetery. In memory of Ralph, donations to Heart & Stroke Foundation or the St. Lawrence District Medical Building Fund would be greatly appreciated by the family.
