Peacefully at the Brockville General Hospital, Charles Street Site on Saturday February 7, 2009. James Gordon Sweet of Brockville, age 85 years. Beloved husband of Marjorie (Quartus) Aaron-Sweet. Fondly remembered by his step-children John Norman Aaron and his wife Patricia of Brockville and George Albert Aaron and his wife Robin of Orleans. Also survived by 4 step-grandchildren and 3 step-great grandchildren, and by a brother Elmer Sweet of Sudbury, as well as his friend Claire Leroux of Brockville. Predeceased by his parents James Clarke Sweet and his wife Mabel Izetta Edlington. Family and friends may call at the Barclay Funeral Home 137 Pearl Street East, Brockville on Friday February 13, 2009 from 12 noon until 2 p.m. The Funeral Service will follow in the Chapel at 2 p.m Interment will take place at Read's Cemetery in the Spring.
