Entered into rest at the Brockville General Hospital, Charles Street Site on Monday March 9, 2009. William Donald Hobson of Brockville age 85 years. Cherished husband of Barbara (Rankin) Hobson, dear father of Helen Hobson (Omar Haidari) of Toronto and Peter Hobson (Terri) of Brockville. Loving grandfather of Ben Hobson of Brockville. Don is also survived by his sisters-in-law Jane Hobson of Picton, Freda Hobson of Bloomfield and Barbara Hobson of Picton and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Roy Nelson and Florence Loulla (Arkett) Hobson and by brothers George, Ray, Jack and Bill Hobson. Family and friends may call at the Barclay Funeral Home 137 Pearl Street East, Brockville on Friday March 13, 2009 from 9 - 11 a.m. The Funeral Service will follow in the Chapel at 11 a.m. Interment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Canada would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
