Peacefully at the Brockville General Hospital Garden St. Site, on Wednesday January 23rd, 2013, John Tristram aged 72 years. Beloved husband to the late M. Phyllis Parent. Dear father of Dan (Tracey) of Athens and Kerri Hurman (Brett) of New Zealand and step father of Sharron Grant (Larry) and John Stitt (Wendy) of Brockville. Cherished grandfather of Rachel Leroux of Brampton, Amber Hawley (Archie) of Brockville, McKenzie McCrady, Danika Hurman and Taine Hurman all of New Zealand and the late Amanda Tristram and great grandfather of Hannah Patterson. Dear brother of Jeffrey (Dorothy), Gary (Sharron) and Beverley Black, and brother-in-law of Rita Clark, Pat Grant, Cecile Lawler, Charlie Parent and the late Bernard Parent. He will also be missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. Family and friends may call at the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl St. East Brockville on Tuesday January 29th, 2013 from 2 to 3:30 and 7 to 9 pm. There will be a Memorial Service held in the Chapel at 3:30 pm. In memory of John, donations to Brockville General Hospital’s Palliative Care Program or the Canadian Cancer Society would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
