Entered into rest at the Brockville General Hospital, Charles Street Site on Sunday December 30, 2012, the former Doris Marjorie (Hynes) McCaw Parkin of Brockville, aged 94 years. Beloved wife of the late Robert Ernest McCaw and Allan Curtis Parkin. Dear mother of Carl McCaw (Lynne) of Morgan Hill, CA, and step mother of Judy MacLeod of Cantley, Quebec, loving grandmother of Wendy McCaw (Tom Scheuffele) of Morgan Hill, Scott McCaw of Greenwich, CT, Kim Ortiz (David) and Kelly McCaw (Leslie) both of San Jose, CA and Peter MacLeod of Toronto. Mrs. Parkin is survived by 7 great grandchildren, her brother-in-law Don Fowler of Brockville and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents John and Ida May (Phillips) Hynes, sisters Ruby Fischer, Eva Fowler and her brother Donald Hynes. From the time of her marriage to Bob McCaw she was a very active member of Wall Street United Church and later for many years she was very productive with the Brockville Rug Hooking Club. Family and friends may call at the Barclay Funeral Home 137 Pearl Street East, Brockville on Sunday January 6, 2013 from 2-4 p.m. A private interment will take place at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
